NorCal Emergency Medical Training

American Heart Association Training Center

NorCal Emergency Medical Training is a Sacramento area based American Heart Association Training Center Authorized to provide ACLS, PALS, BLS for HCP and HeartSaver classes.  As an Authorized Training Center we manage Training Sites, both established and new, and affiliated Instructors.  If you are interested in starting a new Training Site, or have the skill set to become an Instructor, please Contact Us and we will discuss the qualifications and process of becoming an Instructor.

The following is a brief description of NorCal Emergency Medical Trainings' roles as an American Heart Association Training Center and what we provide our new and established American Heart Association Training Sites and affiliated Instructors:

As an American Heart Association Training Center we are authorized to provide a training network in California, and NorCal Emergency Medical Training is willing to accept the alignment of established Training Sites anywhere in the State of California.

Establishing a network of Training Sites and Instructors to help the American Heart Association deliver its Emergency Cardiovascular Care educational courses and strengthen the Chain of Survival in the communities we serve.  NorCal Emergency Medical Training is responsible for the proper administration and quality of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care courses that our aligned Instructors and Training Sites provide.  These courses included Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) and HeartSaver Courses (Basic CPR and First Aid for Lay Rescuers).

The Training Center will provide day-to-day management of the Training Center, Training Sites, and all aligned Instructors with all aspects of training.  The Training Center is here to guide and mentor you as Instructors of the American Heart Association and will never take over or run the business side of your Training Site.  Your Training Site is a business that you have worked hard to create, trust us when we say "we understand" because we were a Training Site for many years and we know what it takes!  Our only priority is maintaining the high level of training as outlined in the 2013 Program Administration Manual and the Instructor's Manual for the curriculums the Training Site is approved to teach.  We will provided aligned instructors and Training Sites with consistent and timely communication of any new or updated information about National, Regional, or Training Center policies, procedures, course content, or course administration that could potentially affect an instructor while carrying out his or her responsibilities.

Lastly, NorCal Emergency Medical Training will serve as the principal resource for information, support, and quality control for all American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Car Instructors aligned with the Training Center.  If you have any questions regarding our Training Center, or would like further information on aligning with us, feel free to call and our staff will be happy to assist you.

Our Instructors and Staff

NorCal Emergency Medical Training instructors are very experienced Firefighters, Paramedics, and Registered Nurses with extensive field and hospital experience.  Our instructors use their experience and follow the high operational standards of the American Heart Association to deliver a 'real life' experience while teaching your class, resulting in consistent  training.  Many places use "contractors" as Instructors, but here at NorCal Emergency Medical Training, our Instructors are employees.  This gives us the ability to train and mentor them to ensure you get the highest level of training possible.  All of our American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, BLS and HeartSaver courses taught are guaranteed and will not be cancelled.  When searching the web for American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, and BLS classes you will encounter 'Traveling' companies that teach out of hotel rooms or 'Universities' that rent room space.  These classes are routinely cancelled for lack of participation and may not always be Official American Heart Association courses.  NorCal Emergency Medical Training operates two campuses (Roseville and Rancho Cordova) that are owned and operated by us.  This will give you assurance that we want to strengthen the Chain of Survival in the Sacramento region, rather than "travel in" from the Bay Area or Southern California.  Knowing that we have been a local business in the region for nearly a decade who you can call upon or stop by any day of the week is something our American Heart Association Training Center prides itself on.  Anybody can go out and buy the books and equipment and teach CPR, ACLS, BLS and PALS, but it's the experience of our instructors that tie it all together.
